I believe that stories are the foundation of life. Even before the written word, people told stories to children about their ancestors and their cultures; that was how history was captured. From parents reading Dr. Seuss books to their kids to the multi-billion-dollar film industry to friends telling stories about how crazy the traffic was that day, stories are one thing that everyone has in common. 

My true love in life has always been the stories locked within the pages on my bookshelf. My favorite thing in the world is that feeling of getting completely lost in a book. I absolutely love how some grand adventure, love story, or thrilling tale can ensnare my consciousness and make me forget what real life is. Like I’m a traffic cone on a busy street—everything around me is just a blur of activity while I sit stationary within my own imagination. 

Do you know the feeling I’m talking about? You forget that you're even reading, the text on the page ignites a fire behind your eyes and plunges you into a world so different from your own. But then you notice a typo, the lack of a comma makes a sentence ambiguous, or there is a missing conjunction. These mistakes pull you right out again as if someone accidentally stepped on the remote, causing the film in your head to pause or rewind out of nowhere. 

Everyone has a story to tell, and I want to help you tell yours in the most seamless way possible. With my bachelor’s degree in English and Certificate in Editing and Publishing, I am here to catch those errors and help your story reach others. I know how difficult it is to write a book and just how many pitfalls there are in the process. My goal is to be the bridge that makes your story come to life beautifully within the minds of your readers.
